Contact Davidson County Busted Mugshots

This is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve official booking records, or decide whether a photo can be released. The sheriff, police department, court, or corrections agency must answer those questions directly.

Where to Ask About a Record

Use the office that owns the record. Call the current number shown by the agency before traveling because Davidson County’s public pages display more than one sheriff and detention contact.

For a photo or booking record, give the full name, date, booking number if known, arresting agency, facility, and exact item requested. Ask the records custodian whether the item is releasable, withheld, redacted, or no longer retained.

Choose the Right Official Route

These routes answer different questions.

  • For a current Davidson County booking or custody status, use the DCSO roster and offense-list path.
  • For a Thomasville police report, use Thomasville Police and its CRIMEWATCH verification form at 336-475-4260.
  • For a Lexington police report, use Lexington Police records at 336-243-3302 or policerecords@lexingtonnc.gov. The city allows up to five business days for a report copy.
  • For High Point, use the city public-record portal and identify the county. The city police contact is 336-883-3224, and High Point Jail lists 336-641-7900.
  • For a court event or disposition, use Davidson County eCourts or the clerk. For state custody, use NCDAC. For federal or immigration custody, use BOP or ICE.

A city name does not always identify the jail. High Point crosses county lines, and the city’s photo-capable jail link is tied to Guilford County. Confirm the agency and county first.

Records, Alerts, and Warrants

The DCSO Warrant Squad is described on Special Investigations at 336-242-2903. Lexington Crime Stoppers is listed at 336-243-2400, and Thomasville Crime Stoppers at 336-476-8477. Those are reporting routes, not records desks. Do not approach or confront a person because of a wanted post. A person who believes a warrant concerns them should contact a lawyer, court, or magistrate.

For a release alert, NC SAVAN/VINE is the state notification path. It can cover county inmates and state custody categories, but it is not a photo source. For a case outcome, ask the clerk for the official court record. A booking charge is an accusation and may later be changed or dismissed.
